The surgery building is open between 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Surgery times vary. The table below is a guide to each doctor’s availability but it is subject to change.

For urgent problems when the surgery is closed, out of hours medical care is provided by the North Yorkshire and York Primary Care Trust (call the emergency number 0845 056 8060). Details will be passed to the duty doctor who will call you back shortly.To ensure that your records are complete, details of out of hours consultations are relayed to the practice and are retained in both medical records systems.If you wish, you may call the NHS Direct service on 0845 4647. This is a nurse-led advice line which provides general health information and advice.

The doctors and nurses have an allocated slot (see below) when they take phone calls on 01756 799711. The lines do get busy so these calls should be for simple problems only.

You may ring at any time for test results (afternoons are quieter). A message will be left with reception staff if the result of the test is normal or requesting you to ring at “phone in” times if the result is more complex.
