“The Patient’s Voice”

Dyneley House Surgery formed their PPG in 2010 and has built up to having 10 members that help provide an opportunity for you to have your say in how your doctors and nurses develop and improve the service they offer.

What is a Patient Participation Group?

Patients working with a practice to:

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of services
  • Foster improved communication between the practice and its patients
  • Help patients to take more responsibility for their health
  • Provide practical support and help to implement change

What is the Dyneley House Group?

The Dyneley House Patient Participation Group (“PPG”) comprises of a number of volunteer patients, including;

PPG Chair - Malcolm Burton

The Practice Manager

A GP partner

The Patient Services Manager

What Does the Group do?

The Group meets regularly in order to discuss how we can improve the services provided by the Practice. The Group is currently working with the Practice to produce a patient questionnaire for feedback on the Practice’s new phone system and services post Covid. We will also provide a means of feeding back your comments, concerns and suggestions to the practice management.

What the Group Cannot Do

We cannot handle complaints. Also, we do not have access to confidential patient information.

How Can You Help?

You can pass on messages or ideas to us, you can join our friendly group that meets monthly at the surgery, or you can join our new Virtual Patient Reference Group. Patients who join this new VPRG will be sent short questionnaires by email from time to time to help shape and develop services at Dyneley House Surgery - this is an exciting way to get involved if you are unable to attend meetings in person.
To find out more, or if you have any ideas or comments you wish to pass on, please contact us using the "contact us" tab above or write to us at the surgery - please mark your correspondence for our Chair, Pamela Reader.
You can put your envelope in the surgery letterbox if they are closed.
